My name is Lu Tan. I am currently a full time student in the master program in educational technology in MSU. I am also a research assistant in the Confucius Institute in MSU and the colleague of Yiren and Dawei. All of us are working on the online game ZON.
Graduated form a university in China I received my bachelor degree in English Language. Although I spent 4 years to study English it was still a great challenge for me to survive on an U.S. campus as a master student. It took me over one year to acclimatize myself to this environment. But just when I began to love the life here in MSU, I found there was only one semester left for me.
I worked for a Chinese language learning TV program in China before I came to U.S. The idea of using technology in teaching and learning was very fresh for me. All I wanted was to find out more about it. And it was the reason I came to study here. More than one year of study makes me figure out that more reflection should be made on using technology in education, and the research assistant work makes me find that there are considerable efforts needed to devote before we successfully integrate the right technology into what we want to teach.
Glad to meet you all. This is my last course in MSU. I wish it will be a good one.
